Some of the highlights of this person’s community involvement were:

Tina McCauslin - has served on the chamber board since 2006. Immediately upon joining the board through her sense of community and volunteerism she earned the respect of her peers and shortly thereafter she was elected President. As President, Tina used her extraordinary interpersonal skills to lead the board and staff to increase the chamber’s effectiveness and place in the business community. Currently serving on the chamber’s finance committee and executive committee she continues to be an expert resource on financial and other issues related to Chamber operations. Each of these characteristics are the sum of many individual decisions. They embody a positive attitude backed by purpose. Thank you for this invaluable service to us individually and to the Chamber of Commerce…. Congratulations Tina!

2011 Volunteer of the Year

Claire Luke – A Chamber of Commerce cannot run without its members volunteering on committees, helping at special events, and being a goodwill Ambassador for the Chamber. Each year we select one special member who has gone above and beyond the call of duty in service to the Chamber…. This person has sat on our Board of Director’s since 2007, she has volunteered to be on the Shopper’s Expo, Farmers’ Market, Golf Tournament and the Showcase committees. She is also the Chair of the Ambassadors. This is just a short list of the things our winner did this past year. Congratulations Claire!

2011 Ambassador of the Year

Cathi Ruff has lived in Lincoln her entire life and graduated from Lincoln High School in 1981 and is the youngest of 3 girls. She married her husband in 1982, and has a daughter and a son.

Cathi is a Financial Service Representative II at First Bank in Lincoln, recently returning to work after a 16 year stay at home to raise her children. Her previous
banking career of 14 years started in Lincoln at Bank of Alex Brown, later becoming First Interstate Bank, then Wells Fargo Bank. She was working as a Loan Assistant at Sanwa Bank before deciding to fulfill her duties as a full-time Mom. Now with her youngest at Lincoln High School it was the perfect time to re-launch her career.

While at home, Cathi started two at-home businesses. The first, a decorative painting business where she was the sole artist, and the second business was as a Sales
Consultant for The Longaberger® Company. She continues to operate those
businesses now, but on a part-time basis.

She has been a Chamber Ambassador for just over 2 years, and is enjoying
participating in the activities taking place in her hometown. Cathi also enjoys letting
potential businesses know about the Lincoln Chamber, how to join, and encourage their existing members to become more active, and get involved. She is looking forward to doing her part in Lincoln’s future as a growing city… Congratulations Cathi!
